No, I actually bought this Singer at an Army thrift shop this past summer! It was made in Germany in 1908!!! America has several bases in Germany, so I think one of our American soldiers married a German girl who brought this machine over here with her at some point.... and it ended up in the Ft Bragg Thrift Shop.
