Very pretty!

I want to thank you all for the compliments on the quilt. My son brought it to her last night (late). He got home after I'd gone to bed and just called me at work to give me the reaction.

I wrapped it up so that the first thing she'd see when opening the box would be the label. He didn't know I'd made the quilt and was ecstatic about it (saying it was "flawless" - nobody else sees our mistakes :) ). He says that she loved it and "couldn't get enough of it." Her mother cried because her mother used to make quilts. But it sounds as if it was a hit. I am so happy. I was so worried that she might not like it as it might not be her taste.

I think she will be a keeper. They've been together for 5 years with a six month breakup last year. Either way, she's a lovely girl who has been uncertain of my feelings about her. I hope she's reassured about that now.
