Smart girl, wish I'd seen this a long time ago, could have saved myself some money and had more to spend on fabric...LOL

Ok, were they cheaper to make than to purchase??? And how many quilts have you completed with them and did they loosen up as you load the quilts.

I'm not following you completely, but I am very intrigued...if you are ever interested, I would love to see a video on this...perhaps you could make a post with a you tube link for the video if you ever make one...in any case, sounds very resourceful...good job! :-)...thanks so much...

http://clip-n-seal.com/purchase.htm The reason I didn't buy a second set of these was because I only needed enough for one shorter leader (I have several sets so if a friend is working on something and can't get it finished we can just take it off velcro bars and keep the leaders attached to the quilt. That makes for very easy switching to put it back on. |
Cheryl, I just sent you a private message to let you know I found the tubes and u channels this morning, and I tried them with a few pieces of cloth. They work great. Tomorrow I will attach casing tubes to my current leaders, yay. The cost came to a bit less than $25.00 for both the top and bottom leaders. That's real savings! Thanks again for your help.
