Making wavy borders is pretty easy. I usually do several. My first border is a thiner strip, say 1 1/2" to 2" wide. I lay the strip out and take my rotary cuter and cut out wavy lines. Make enough for 4 borders. I alway add extra inches to them. Lay them out on the ironing board and spray Starch them, turning under 1/4" on one side. Lay side pieces on to quilt. Stitch next to edge. Add top border pieces. Stitch again next to edge. You do the same for all borders , making each border wider. Just lay out your borders so they look good to your eye.

Your quilts are gorgeous. Your son's quilt looks like a scene out of a museum and your husband's quilt is a great change from quilts with lots of tiny pieces. I like both large & small pieced quilts, but after looking at so many it shows how much more you can do with the larger blocks. Thanks for showing us.
