All of them are great & will bring beautiful pops of color to her room or rooms. You are a great friend to do this for her. You really do need a break sometimes from big projects. When I need a break I like to make mug rugs or placemats, pot holders etc. & they all make great gifts too. So much fun!

Thanks ladies. these are some of the blocks from the "Farmer's Wife" quilt along. Laida, has been my friend for some 40 years or so and she lives about 5 miles away from me. We visit often and her grown children call me Aunt. I have a few friends like Laida with children and grandchildren and they are my extended family. I know I am lucky to have so many dear friends. When the mood strikes, I do things like the pillows or a quilt or a knitted item for their cat etc lol...I enjoy doing things in my time and when I want to and that is the best way. I still have a lot on my fun plate but first I have a lot of organizing to do as I got in lot of stuff lol. You all know what I mean lol. I have that La Pas quilt to finish in-between. I am also getting back into embroidery and needlepoint. I am fascinated with the White rabbit from Alice in wonderland and have drafted him on canvas. When I get done painting him, I will do a needle point of him and so it goes.......
