Pincushions and Christmas drapes
 

I have made the pincushions for my friends for Christmas. The drapes I used designs stapled to a ribbon.

Your pin cushions are quite unique and very cute. Did you have a pattern or make them up yourself? What do you use for the stand that holds them up? I am so curious. What did you stuff them with? Would love to see pictures of one as you progress with making it. What is the top little ball? Told you I was curious...which my mom says is really nosey!

They are easy and so much fun. I have a hard time finding candle holders, so my next one, I am going to try something different..

Oh my, yours are so pretty! I made one for an exchange on another forum, I sure hope she likes it. They are fun to make but I realized I should have stuffed mine a bit more. I think I'll make a couple more after the holidays just for the heck of it.

These are so cute can't wait to sew up a bunch of girls... thanks for the link to the website -- I think this will become my favorite site. Being a beginner I really liked their easy follow videos, and I like completing a smaller project while I am getting my feet wet before tackling larger ones. One small step at a time.
