Pineapple Quilt top
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished another Pineapple quilt. Admittedly this one was much easier and far less waste fabric using my Accuquilt die ti make this one. Now to decided on a border or no border. I am essentially out of the green but am open to other thoughts. I haven't decided yet on how I will quilt it. Right now I am just excited on having this much finished.

I got some Christmas Green at Missouri Star quilts i like. nice solid dark green to use with my Christmas prints mostly. Just a thought.

Love your pineapple quilt. It's just beautiful in it's two-color simplicity. Please give us an update when you decide on your binding choice.

Beautiful greens! My favorite color. When are you putting it in the mail to me, hehe? It is a beautiful quilt and I think it will look good with or without a border. I think a binding in green would be enough to frame it.
Love your quilt! I have added the pineapple Accuquilt die on my wish list after seeing how beautiful your quilt turned out.

Lovely top! I might go with a white and green patterned border if you need it bigger, if not, just a binding.
Maybe a small strip of yellow?

Oh, how pretty! I like the two-color style and in this green and white, it looks fresh and sweet. I'm glad you had less fussing with the die cut pieces. Great job! https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/thumbup.png
As for borders, I'm no help. I usually just about have a cow over my borders and binding - it can take weeks. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...s/rolleyes.png |
This is so pretty! I love two color quilts! A border would look nice if you need it larger but I think I would search for the same green fabric you used here, to keep it two color. Just my opinion anyway. It sure came out nice.

Beautiful top and I think a darker green for the border and binding would be perfect. Great work.
Love your pineapple quilt. Nice shade of green.
wonderful quilt! maybe a white fabric with green print (shamrocks?) to coordinate in the border.
Way to go! I see why you are excited to have this lovely quilt top done! What about a flange binding...green with a cream flange?
It’s gorgeous! I love the two color effect. What about a white border with a green or green and white binding?

Gorgeous! The colors make it fresh and springy.
Congratulations! There is something very classy and timeless about 2 color quilts, you did an amazing job, well done!
Nothing like a two color quilt! Without any extra green I guess white is the other choice. I can't imagine adding another color as a border. A narrow green border, then a slightly wider white would be my choice. Is shopping an option? I can just imagine the workers at a quilt shop scurrying around to help you find the perfect green..
Wow! I really love that!
Great quilt, I vote for no borders and white binding unless you can find a narrow green (same color as in quilt) and white fine stripe to cut on the diagonal for the binding. Better get hoppin- St Patty’s Day is around the corner!
Just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Love the green and I agree with Tartan, maybe a green and white print for the border if you need it larger.
Love it! I picture it with a green binding, but no border. Whichever way, it is gorgeous!
That’s beautiful!
I had not thought about taking it into a LQS for assistance in finding a matching fabric for a border. This is something I will consider once I can get out and restrictions are lifted because of COVID. I didn't even think of it being a St. Paddy's day quilt. A little brain dead?!*#$.
I love the 2 color look. It's perfect as is. If you want a border I wold do white.
Lovely quilt... so fresh!
