Thank you all. I send the quilt to her yesterday and had a overjoyed and teary Lady on the phone today. Isn't this the ultimate payback for a quilter!?
During the two weeks I worked on the quilt we suffered from the worst heat wave in Switzerland since they started recording the weather back in 1880. I don't have any idea, but I am sure that a chemo therapy is much worse than sewing in a room with 40 degrees (104 F).
