Here's the latest back from the quilter.
I put this together last week as a thank-you for my Aunt.
She is catering and planning my graduation party, today.
(it got here just in time)
I was able to work with the fabric I had.... I could have added another row of 9patches, but didn't have any more sashing.
I think I ended up with about 8 inches!!!!
Now... what do do with the 7 9patches that didn't make it into this quilt?

Lovely make some shams using the extra pieces? or a throw pillow.

7 nine-patches = seed blocks for your next quilt, of course! <g>

Good job. Has the look of an old traditional quilt!

Join four as you have them rotated in the quilt, but leave out the sashing and see if a secondary star pattern forms. Make a pillow. Or use for a tote bag.

Very nice! The colors looks really good together! You could make potholders with the remaining.

Very nice. Congrats on getting it done. You can use the extra blocks to make a pillow or small wall hanging. Or just save them and collect other orphan blocks and make another quilt.

Lovely quilt!
For the leftovers, add some sashing and bake a baby quilt. there is always a need for them.
