I'm trying to come up with a quilt for our bedroom that will go with the new paint color. (yes, I'm painting our bedroom next.. bathroom is done)
I would love to send it out to have quilted, but with the cost of everything lately, I think I'm going to have to quilt it and I don't want to, so I'm thinking of making the block and then doing a raggy edge to join it to the next block. Here's the 2 blocks that I've done so far. What do ya'll think? |
You can do straight lines along the pinwheels for quilting..

I like your pinwheels, You can always outline your light triangle.
|
Beautiful pinwheels!! :D

Love love love the pinwheels! Great job!

I think circular quilting works really well with pinwheels.

If you want to do the raggy thing with it, I would do it as a quilt as you go project. Cut the batting 1 inch smaller than your block & the backing the same size as your block. You could then criss cross them together & when you sew them as a raggy thing, the front & back would be finished. Your blocks are wonderful & will make a beautiful quilt however you decide to finish it.

I likw both of them. I do not understand the raggy part???

I like the blocks

Love the plaids!
