Here are pictures of the quilt I just finished for my youngest son. It's a queen-sized quilt and by the time I got it finished, my eyes were crossed!

Loretta,
Thanks for the compliment  In all reality, it was one of the easiest quilts that I've worked on. |
Loretta,
This pattern took rectangles and squares to make the stars. It was really a snap. I've done the Ohio Star and it's pretty easy also. |
Oh, gee, you make me (my free motion quiliting) look like a slob because I just throw some kind of design on there - not dense like yours - so I can get it done and on to the next quilt. Yours is gorgeous - such detail!

Beautiful pattern, colors and your quilting is awesome! :D :D :D
there is a garage sale that I am going to tomorrow and the gal used to own a quilt store, she is charging 2 a yard for fabric and i was wondering how to use dark colors and make a bright quilt. your quilt is very inspiring thanks for sharing

What a gorgeous quilt! I can see why you were cross-eyed, but the end result is just beautiful!!
Thank you, Roben. It took me about 2 weeks to just quilt the thing. But it's going to its new home in Montana.
Awesome stars!!
Beautiful quilt, you did a great job. love the colors :D
Verrrry nice lee. I can see why you are cross-eyed. Those crisso-cross pinwheels must have been very confusing to put together.
What a beautiful effect! You did such a nice job. Make more!
Gorgeous. All that machine quilting! You are far more patient than I am, and it pays off in your results!
WOW! That's beautiful.
Great job! You do really nice work.
Found some material I like can I just send it to you or would you like to come visit me and make the quilt here?????????????
I can't believe you did all that quilting on your machine. You did such a wonderful job. I never could have! Congratulations to you.
I love the colors. Cross eyed? :D It looks great.

Loretta,
The pattern is called Woven Stars and I found the pattern in a book called Amazingly Simple Star Quilts by Jeanne Stauffer & Sandra L. Hatch. The pattern itself was fairly easy. Like I've said before, it's the quilting designs that really throw me through a loop. On my 4th picture (the back of the quilt), it looks like a "bird's nest". It really isn't  It's where the bobbin ran out and I ended up with the dark part of the varagated thread and it looks crappy  |
Geogeous quilt but wasn't sewing those tiny nine patch blocks hard to hold on to or did you use the strip method?
What a beautiful quilt!! The sashing sure sets off those stars perfectly.

I'm going to make this one again only in navy, forest and maroon.
I love the colors in your quilt!
Here you go, mouse
Its beautiful!
Beautiful!
Oh my goodness is that pretty. I'd never in a million years be able to get 9 patches in there like that. You're very very good. :D
Barnbum, believe it or not, this was a really easy pattern. Only a few pieces, sew a square to a rectangle and piece them together! Makes even me look good 8)
Beautiful!! Lovely colors!
I am quilting another one that is maroon and navy pinwheels and forest and cream sashing. As soon as I get some of the pins out, I'll post pictures. I'm hoping within a couple of weeks.
