All beautiful - I love eveything but the bag is outstanding - you should go into production! :-D

k3n, my intention when I bought the pattern was to make them to sell with baby quilts, at the very bottom of the pattern she says " you may only make these bags as gifts, do not make them to sell". that realyy pissed me off but it IS her design.. maybe I'll offer the quilts for sale at a hefty price and add the bag as a "gift" LOL

Love the quilt and bag, and the boots are cute, too!

Wonderful job on both!

Love the quilt and diaper bag the most. They make a perfect twosome for gifts or to sell. Too bad you can't sell the bag so design your own pattern! :-D :-D ;-)

Kathy, my understanding is that pattern designers don't have the right to forbid this. There have been discussions on the Qoard in the past about this and this has been the general consensus -- certainly if you're not planning to going into production on an industrial scale. Making a few to sell on an ad hoc basis shouldn't be a problem.

PS your idea of 'gifting' them with a quilt is a good one - here in the UK a while back there were issues about what could and couldn't be sold under the Sunday trading laws - for example, you could buy a magazine but not a book (including the Bible), you could buy a cabbage but not a can of paint, etc. Some DIY stores were offering cabbages at £20 each, with a free tin of paint thrown in! They made their point and now the law is revised. :-D

Great stuff!
The prairie points on the tote are a fantastic idea!
