Play Day
After a very stressful and busy few weeks, I decided to take a day for me and play. I also saw the fabric box post and followed it back to the tutorial. And I also saw Tartan's wonderful Faux Flowers tutorial. Here are my versions:

Instead of just tacking the point inside the box, to the side, I pressed it against the wall and stitched thru with my sewing machine. On the faux flowers, I realized I had not marked the sewing line as carefully as I should have, so the petals came out uneven but hey, not bad for a first try.
It was sooo nice to just sit and sew instead of being on a time constraint or feeling like I was stealing time from some other task. |
