Play or Dragger Quilts for the Nieces
4 Attachment(s)
There are two to go, but, here are the ones I have finished for this year's birthday gifts. I have the other tops finished but they need quilting and binding. I am excited to have them finished so early.
These are a long shot and a close up to show the fabric and embroidery. I really think they will have fun serving tea or sitting outside with these dragging them around. LOL... The first one is stitched in the ditch first and then the diagonal stitching. The other one is an all over fm meander stitch for the quilting. But two very different nine patch quilts. Fitting the personalities. |
Very nice ~ they will love them!! Great job!

Really cute embroidery and quilts! Is it hand or machine embroidery?

Beautiful quilts. The embroidery really adds to it and your color choices are lovely. You did a wonderful job. They will be greatly appreciated. Good job!

Machine embroidery on these two tartan. I have other sets done with hand embroidery on them. I have come to hate removing the paper after the blocks are done. LOL...

most gorgeous dragger quilts I would ever loved to have.
|
Beautiful! I love the term "Dragger quilts". I am still new enough to quilting that I think all of my quilts are dragger quilts. LOL. You did a great job on them.

What Teriffic quilts, I think they are beautiful......while I have never used the term dragger quilt I have always assumed the quilts I made for the kids would be used and abused being draaged around the house and yard. What a joy for me every time I saw them at grandma's house and they all had the quilts I made with them.

Are they darling. Much too lovely to be draggers.
