Playing with Blocks

It has been a hot summer for quilting but I managed to get this one done: "Playing With Blocks" by Darlene Zimmerman. I quilted circles within the squares with my walking foot so lots of turning. Glad it is only lap size! I also tie the quilt at each block intersection and also in every other block.

Great looking! Good way to use jelly rolls.....is center a 2 1/2" square or larger?
