I had never done a stack 'n whack, so I thought I'd try it with some scraps that I had. The wide border is the original WILDLY floral fabric that I had used as a border on a king-size quilt and then took off. The 16 little blocks in the center are my experiment on stack 'n whack. They are good enough for the galloping horse test, but don't look too closely. I learned a lot about what not to do the next time. haha

Looks like you've figured it out pretty darned good ... and have a lovely triangular 4PP.

Total femininity!

(and now I want to see the quilt this is the leftovers from? pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?)

Awesome! I continue to look at the stack and whack and one block wonders and think they are so wonderful, but my guts have not enough strength in them to give it a try yet. LOL. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

It was just the border from a carpenter's star. Didn't work out so well. I don't like the quilt top, so haven't quilted it yet.

Very nice, I love stack n whack because of the Surprise! factor in each block. Yours is so pretty, love the colors. I'm making one now in fall colors of purple orange and green, it's pretty dramatic, so say the least.

You certainly have MORE patient then I did. I couldn't get the layers exactly as they are suppose to be so I passed it onto a friend. Very interesting patterns that were created. Job WELL DONE !!!
