My opinion also, makes the quilt more interesting.

i like both ways and i have heard how to keep them in all the same direction but cant remember

I like them both ways, but I agree when mixed you lose one of the pinwheels.

I like the first one, the green with the blue in the center. However, all three are pleasing to the eye.
