Maybe its going without sleep this week because of the storms, or maybe its because I just keep staring at the design wall - but whatever the reason, I can't decide on the layout for this throw :cry: I like them both (and no, I'm not going to make two of them LOL) Help!!

Your quilt is very pretty...............I like the second one. It draws your eye into the center.

Roben - I like the one you labeled "green focus" layout 1 (2nd picture on the screen) It kept calling "pick me" just as zyxquilts said it did for her.

Boy I am the "Odd Ball" today! I like the layout #2(orange focus). I like the way the orange & blue seem to frame the center star!

However unusual it is for me to agree with the majority LOL I'm liking the 2nd one (green focus) best as well. I like the blue squares positioning in that one wayyy better than in the first pic. Seemed more, i don't know organized for lack of a better description.

Both are beautiful!! I agree with DazzleMe! The second one draws to the center.

The other one is nice too, but I prefer the 1st one.

I, too, like the bottom one. It shows off all the colours better.

The contrasting center of the figure 8 makes it look rounder.

Either one is beautiful, but I think I like the green focus better...seems to complement the green points on your star. Nice job!!!

Thanks so much for the input everyone - it really helps! I've decided on layout # 2 - it seems more orgainzed-looking and balanced to me (although I really did like the play of the orange against the star in the the other layout.) I am splitting my time between it and the next project ( I am sooo bad - I just couldn't wait!) so it'll be a while before I get the top completely done, and longer if these storms don't let up soon!

The delay couldn't possibly be because orange is my least favorite color, right? LOL

You did try to keep us on our toes. Putting layout two first and layout one second. I prefer the green focus one also but both are really attractive.
