That's a very interesting design. I don't think I have seen it before. Did you design it yourself??

Just found a picture of it. I have more pictures of it at home, this one is before it was quilted. What was nice about this style is that I could use a busy fabric for the pinwheels and a more simple fabric for the alternating blocks, or you could do it the other way around.

I did 1 similar to this and I remember it being pretty easy. thank you!

I think just about anything that you can sew in strips, rotary cut and reassemble will be a quick one for you.

That's exactly what i was thinking!!!

I think it's a great design, and no I didn't design it. It's called The Dorothy Quilt, by Anna Griffin. Free downloadable pattern. I've made it twice, and I rarely make a pattern more than once.

I love it ! Free from where?

Using dramatically different colors and fabrics make each quilt, even of the same pattern look different. No matter what you make someone will love it. I hope the quilt you donate makes lots of money.

Slice a bunch of the fabric up and make large string blocks, also tube quilts are super fast.

This is the easiest quilt pattern I have ever found. When you are finished sewing the rows together, the quilt is already quilted and ready for binding. It is a great way to use small pieces of fabrics. I am making one right now for a new baby in the neighborhood. I cut all my rectangles with my AccuQuilt GO and it was so fast. Now I will sew all my rectangles together, and then start sewing them to the batting and backing.
You are sewing for a great cause!

Check Missouri Star Quilt Co. They have some easy techniques for quick blocks.
