I donate quilts to a nonprofit that helps our heros. This is a quickie quilt because I didn't have much notice. The officer was injured in a car accident 2 days ago and is in ICU he is ok, hurt but ok. They will make a basket up of little gifts as a get better soon!! Enjoy! Jade

Thank you all. Quilting is my rehab. I have a back injury and when I quilt I am somewhat painfree. I was given a lot of material for use on whatever I needed and it just happened that we had an so many of our Police officers attacked last year that the need for these quilts and to take care of those who protect us was first and foremost. My issues are so small compared to what some of these families are going through the Non profit I work with has a project that follows these families for up to 2 years or more depending on their needs. It breaks my heart but to be able to give back it amazing. I have a quilt that an officer wants me to make for her in-laws how do you charge her for this?? Anyways that is my story of why I do these quilts.
