I am getting all of my dental work done at the local University dental school, and my dear little dental student and her hubby are expecting their first baby any time now... I don't see how she's kept up the pace of her classes and clinicals while pregnant, let alone bending over peoples' mouths for hours at a time! Anyway, I wanted to bless her with a baby quilt, and got it finished last night. I washed it and got it all crinkly... Used only warm water and this time got 5% shrinkage! I'll sneak in a couple pics of the bear in bunny pajamas that I finished yesterday, too. :-D
I forgot to mention that I did the piecing on my Singer 66 treadle (in my avatar). This it the first thing I've sewn on it, and my first project on a treadle. Loads of fun... I put a 'spine' of leftover pieces up the back Pooh Quilt for baby Samuel Bear in Bunny PJs is for my daughter's hope chest "Ta Da! Crinkly quilts are the best, IMO! What batting did you use?
