When I got my longarm my friend brought me 4 quilts to practice on. I have done three. This is the third one. I'm very grateful to her for her vote of confidence. This one I did with a pantograph, floral meander by Pattern Man designs. I think it turned out pretty well.

Now this is my kind of quilt! I love all the different colors. You did a good job. I'm going to try my hand at some FMQ on a quilt I'm working on for my brother for Christmas. I hope mine looks as good as yours!

Oh my heavens, what a quilt. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Your quilting looks wonderful. You will gain confidence with each one.

A trick to make a quilt look great after quilting is to steam it. Just take a good steam iron lightly over the surface and it, well I can't describe what it does, I don't want to say flattens since you just go lightly, maybe evens it out describes it. You will love it. When I was doing landscapes on my small machine, I learned to do this.

Great work on your quilting with a long arm This is one of the few quilts I like with an all over design of quilting.

Thanks so much for the tip. This quilt was a little ruffly at the bottom and I had quite a time getting it even without puckers. I'll try the steam and see if it helps it.
