It's great but I think not so easy! Cutting all those squares and keeping track of the pattern - great job.

MaryAnnMc 02-11-2014 05:36 AM

Oh, that is SO bright and cheery!! Would you mind if I pinned it to my quilt board on Pinterest?

hairquilt 02-11-2014 05:36 AM

Love this quilt but can't wrap my mind around how it is accomplished! Four patch, nine patch, strips etc. Would there be a pattern for it! Please someone help me as I really want to make this one. I've been saving 1 1/2 sqs for forever & this is the most goregous one i've seen!

gabeway 02-11-2014 05:38 AM

Pretty quilt.

Karen G 02-11-2014 06:52 AM

It was the cover quilt from American Patchwork and Quilting magazine , April 2013. Mostly strip pieced with 2 inch strips. Thank you all for your kind words.

BuzzinBumble 02-11-2014 08:08 AM

I think your definition of "easy" differs from mine...LOL :D
I think your quilt is spectacular!

KarenJ 02-11-2014 08:52 AM

This is terrific. Doesn't look easy at all, but the results are just great.

PABerard 02-11-2014 09:07 AM

Beautiful!

KarenJ 02-11-2014 09:13 AM

And can you give us a hint as to how the layout was done?

JanieH 02-11-2014 09:16 AM

Karen G, LOVE your quilt !!

I was curious also and I found a similar quilt on Bonnie Hunters site http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/...und-world.html . I was surprised how easy the method sounds. This may be my next pattern to try after I finish her Sisters Choice Pattern

ccthomas 02-11-2014 07:30 PM

Love your postage stamp quilt. Nice color choices.

Billy'swife 02-11-2014 09:11 PM

Your quilt is spectacular! The colors are beautiful together. I love scrappy quilts and to think that so much is thrown away because someone doesn't want to bother. Those scraps still amount to $8.00 to $12.00 per yard when sewed together.

Love the quilt and great way to take photo on porch railing, just lovely

twinkie 02-12-2014 03:54 AM

Your "easy" quilt sure looks difficult.

ghquilter53 02-12-2014 06:02 AM

Absolutely love this quilt. This is on my bucket list.

Sewbeeit2 02-12-2014 07:12 AM

What an heirloom beauty you have created...These postage stamp quilts are the most highly collectable ones due to the
incredible fabric samples in them.. Way to go.....congratulations on your patience and skill.
