Posting new purse to show DD how to post to board

In order to show DD how to post a pic to board, I am showing you the new purse I made before coming for a 3-week visit with her in North Carolina (I leave to go back to Florida tomorrow). It's the most comfortable purse I've made for myself & I will definately make a few more for myself. It has 4 outside pockets, strap is adjustable, is made from a soft animal look upholstery fabric I found at a thrift shop while on a trip to Wisconsin last month (paid $1.99). Inside, it has 2 pockets & a full zipper pocket. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a nice pattern. Is it your own pattern or a purchased one? Nice work

I used the body of an 8" messengerbag, made the 2 pockets with a corded flap & velcro on front & back of purse (front pockets are pleated for room; the back are just flat pockets. Made the strap adjustable for X-body or shoulder. The inside is mostly my standard that I put in most of my purses...2 pockets and a full zippered pocket. I put a zipper closure instead of the flap that goes over a messenger bag (the flap drove me crazy on the last one I made for myself & will end up selling instead). Hope this helps you.
