My FIL asked me to make some potholders and I knew I needed to work on my binding, so here's try #2. #1 isn't fit to show. lol

Excellent! Practice does make perfect. There is great tutorial on QB for doing round potholders. You might like to see if you can pick up some pointers from it too.

I did a search, but didn't find anything. Do you know where it might be?

Also, go to missouri star quilt company. They have tons of videos on how to's. I just saw one on binding a pot holder.

Sorry , it took me a while but the original post was by azwendyg and the title of the post was Three Quick Hot pads. We all raved about them after seeing the pictures and on page 10 post #96 she inserted a link in blue titled: Round Trivet with bias binding. Hope this helps you find them.

Cute, cute, cute. Think your FIL will go for the pink? lol. Usually when I bind anything, I start in the middle of a side, rather than at a corner. It seems to make the finish easier. Don't know if that will help you but, there's my 2¢.
Also, as 4EVERquilt said, Missouri Star Quilt Company has a ton of "How-to" videos. Check them out. Thanks for sharing.

You're on your way. It does help to start in the middle of a side, but you could add a loop to this one at that corner where the binding joins, and no one will ever know it's not planned!! Nice job overall!

Very nice potholder.

He didn't specify a pattern or color, so I just picked what I thought would brighten up their kitchen. If he knows what's good for him, he won't complain!! :D
