Potholders -- my first blocks

10 Attachment(s)
I just realized that I never posted photos of my potholders here. These are the first blocks I ever did, so you're looking at my first triangles and my first quilting technique playing. Also my first binding. The red set came first and the green set second. Photos somehow got jumbled.

A great way to try many different blocks and techniques and still have something useful when done.

Great job! Don't you just love how fast they go together? I enjoy making pot holders too.

Great job - what did you use for batting ?

Going to make some myself this weekend and I´m wondering what batting I should use so no one burns his fingers.

Insulbrite glue sticked to the front and warm and natural glue stocked to the back. It's worked well. The blocks all went to friends, but I made a glove for myself and its the best one Ive ever had. My boyfriend, who's a cook, is happy with it too.
