I'm green with envy! Your 'practice' looks darn perfect to me.
Wish I had a mid-arm or long-arm to practice on. I would be making each quilt a 'practice' quilt....at least it would get done. And done is better than perfect. Yours is perfect! Love it. warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |
Great Feathers and Macintoch. I think you are ready for a real quilt.
I say get off the pot and do it. Looks great. You are your own worst critic you know!
Looks fantastic!
I would be quilting up tops if I were you. It doesn't look like you need anymore practice to me. I think you are doing avery good job.
It looks good to me. Can I have your practice stuff? You are doing a winderful job. Makes me want to hand in my needle and go machine.
Looks great - and it's time to have a pair of glasses chained to the frame so you don't have any excuses! Get an extra pair at the drugstore - or buy 'em by the dozen at Costco!
Wow, it looks great to me, keep up the practice, practice, practice
I think you're amazing and you're ready for any quilt!
Hey if you want me to send you some tops to practice on let me know, it's a shame to waste all that beautiful practicing!!!!
You can quilt my tops anytime.
Looks like you and your Lizzie are up to the task. Your quilting looks terrific. It is fun to work on a practice piece. It's less intimidating tha a "real" quilt.
Keep up the good work. |
that looks really good to me. Penny

I think that I need to map out what I'm going to do, even if it's just some quick lines and general guides of where to go. Someday I'll get up the nerve to do it on an actual quilt! :P |
I was just watching the DVD that came with the book Quilting For Show by Karen McTavish. There's a nice section on doing stencil and free motion feathers. I need to watch it over and over because when I get to the long arm I think.. Now how did that go again?

Maybe you can get a book stand so you can see what you're suppose to be doing while quilting. I'm the same way too!

Looks grand...go forth and quilt!

Judging from your practice quilts, your quilts will be beautiful!
It's beautiful.

You are doing such a wonderful job. I need to get back in there and practice too. If I can do half as well as you I'll be happy.

Pam it looks as if your practice is really paying off. That quilting looks really good to me. Please keep us posted on your progress with more pictures and thanks for sharing....Judi
