Fascinating! So do you think you are ready to cut the stork panels? Really makes for a different look, would love to see a variety of things done in this technique. I wonder if the computer quilt programs can do it? Would be interesting to see!

I have that pattern, but I have not tried it yet! I like your idea of making a practice block first.
