I was doing just odd shapes to get used to curves, but then I thought I would do one of the actual shapes I will be putting in a future project.

I think it came out pretty well.

I am hoping to get good enough to make the project in time to hang it for Christmas.

It sure is!! I am thrilled that I will be able to make such cute things as I have seen here. And since a friend turned me onto Wonder Under, It is not stiff like the raw edge applique I used to do with another product. It feels nice.

I will have to live 257 years to do all the things I want.

Looks like a satin stitch. This is a good job! I've been sticking with the machine blanket stitch.

This sample makes me hungry! Gingerbread house with creamy white icing?
