Words cannot express my appreciation for this quilt I received this morning from Gramma MO (NP3's SIL) and her prayer group. And in my favorite colors. I was so awed, I sat and played with it 30 minutes. And the beautiful corcheted cross on the back and the label with my name and theirs. Thank you so much, Gramma Mo and to your church group.
I plan to take it to the hospital with me and have it at the end of my bed while I recover. I am so blessed by your thoughtfulness and of the groups.

Lovingizaabella - April. Thank you also for the Laurel Burch Horse fabrics and the Friends fabric. We are always exchanging things and this was just as much a fantastic surprise as the others. HUGS to you all.♥♥

This quilt is macine quilted and then tied by each of the 12 ladise in the group as they say a prayer for me. SO special.

Painiacs 04-16-2011 08:04 AM

debbieumphress 04-16-2011 08:09 AM

Fabric whisper. My toes always manage to sneak in and this time my red polish needs to be redone. Figured you'd see it. LOL. Usually everyone notices when my toes are showing. ROFL. I love red. But for surgery,no pedicure and I even had to take off my solar nails because not allowed in case of bacteria etc.

Paniacs - My surgery is the 27th. Having my skullbase surgery to repair some bone growth that is impairing my implants in my head. Robo-woman here. BTW you can read all about it in my PDA and friends will keep it updated while I am off the QB. Thanks for asking and for your prayer.

Fabric Whisperer, that could be a glare on my toe and the red polish is perfect. I did trim my nails so they wouldn't be too long in surgery. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. ROFL

fabric whisperer 04-16-2011 08:28 AM

ROFL yeah, yeah, blah, blah, we believe you haa haa ... what are solar nails? I'm actually an old fashioned girl, don't wear makeup because of my eczema, and only play with polish to entertain 13 year old DD (I am her practice dummy)

debbieumphress 04-16-2011 08:37 AM

Solar nails are just the next step up from fake nails we have put on at the Nail shop. COsts a pinch more but lasts longer . My nails just have never grown on their own and after chemo, they are so bendable now. Have a great day, I am off to play in my sewing room.

This board is full of surprises and friends. I know you are already making some too. Be sure you go to Offline events and see GRannyp70's post of where the May 13th meet is. I am trying to go but don't know if I will be able to see good enough to drive, much less drive. LOL. Maybe you can pick me up since it's in Stephenville. We'll chat. Love ya, cousin.

This quilt is on the foot of my bed now while I am recovering from my first surgery. It is lovely and all my visitors love it. Especially me. Ducky's angle she sent in on a shelf by my flowers. Joanieu is coming to see me tomorrow so I willhave pictures. I am watching the roral wdding at 4a.m Not planned but the nurses are already in and out of my room starting iv's and meds. I hugged my prayer quilt this mornin and prayed with it to help me get thru thie week and recover during the next three before a second surgery. Oh my, this quilt brings me comfort.

Gosh just got three meds and a iv started while I type here. and already feeling loppy eared.
Thank you Grammo Mo and the Calvery Bible church for thisw quilt of comfort and prayer.
