it is great work....we all prefer to do what we prefer to do...dont let anyone discourage you from hand quilting...it is an art...and it is theropy...and you may not be able to do it forever...so just keep on quilting

Tying is fine if you like to do it but this particular runner wouldn't look good tied anyway IMO. If she was trying to be helpful just smile. If not, she should remember MYOB.

I see nothing wrong with this. Maybe sister has her own taste. Actually she should have keep those comments to herself. I think it is very beautiful. The handi work is just wonderful.
