if you have already given the quilts away there is nothing to do about them. the reason the quilts for kid program does not want monofilament thread because of the "industrial' laundry they go through at the hospital, that thread will not hold up and can be 'pickey' when it pokes out. if you want to use it for other childrens quilts you make that is your choice and nothing to worry about. some people use it alot, some of us avoid it at all costs, it's a personal choice. but when you are participating in a program it is important to follow their requirements and rules.

I would just let the recipients know to watch for loose threads, and to take care of them if they see any :D:D:D

Kathy your quilts are really beautiful, I really love them, you did a great job on them. That is like the quilt that I want to make for my great-grandaughter she is 7 and just loves Tinkerbell.
