I just took a class today to learn how to make this bag. I have the outside shell done and have started in the inner bag. I will post a pic when I have it finished. It is a wonderful bag, and lots of detailed instructions make it relatively easy to do -one step at a time!

I love your colors! Congratulations on a Great job!

sewnsewer2 08-14-2010 06:38 PM

josi49 08-14-2010 07:07 PM

I absolutely love it! My LQS had a sample of this pattern made up in their shop and I bought it just 3 days ago. Amazing. I'll post pics when mine is complete. You did a really great job.

What a grrrrreat bag!!! The colors and patterns are perfect and so is the workmanship. She will be the envy of all her friends.

SandyinZ4 08-14-2010 07:18 PM

Each time one of you posts a pic of a new tote(bag), I get all inspiried again. I really like this one, especially with all the pockets and the zipper. I like the side pockets on outside of bag, too and the white drawstring. I will just have to make sure that my to do list keeps this one near the top.

Just curious …..Did you ever finish your Professional tote? …..Love to see it if you did.
Would love to see others version of this tote.

Shemjo 10-10-2010 11:42 AM

I hit a bump in the road, but will tell the WORLD when I get it finished.
I have some outside stuff that I need to attend to, but work on the tote when I have time.

dyer804 10-10-2010 12:00 PM

I used Decor Bond, that's what the pattern called for ... it's a medium weight fusible ... but there are so many layers in that bag that the laptop is ok, I think.

maggie2122 10-10-2010 03:58 PM

Love it! Beautiful fabrics you picked to make it.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I'd like to give it a try. I was worried about how sturdy it was but it sounds fine.
