Progress Report on Square Dance Quilt
 

I have been working on this quilt when I have time. My original plan was to use a fabric only once. I have given up on that idea and just decided to sew with whatever scraps fit and looked good.

Looking great! This is a great scrap pattern. Sort of like a reverse Irish Chain. I’m pinning this one for later.

I think I’m going to make it as a oversized lap. Not sure whom it it going to, so a lap will be fine. Then they don’t have to feel obligated to put in on their bed.

This is a beautiful scrappy quilt. From someone who uses more scraps than yardage from my stash, this is one very pretty quilt. You will be so happy with it even if a fabric repeats itself. Only you will notice that. Beautiful quilt can't wait to see it finished.

I’m calling this small lap quilt done. It was a fast sew but not very challenging. Onward and upward to the next creation.

Working on my version of this square dance quilt. I am planning on a 8 x 10 layout which means 80 blocks. (My kind of math. :thumbup:) I have 34 finished and another 20 cut. All are from my purple bin. I even found a piece for the back! Thank you Patchworkbarb for this simple but interesting stash buster.
