I just finished quilting this one for Camp Erin, a camp for grieving children. Camp Erin is one of the 40 facilities that our Philadelphia chapter of Project Linus services, providing handmade quilts and blankets for seriously ill or traumatized children.

This is a BEAUTIFUL quilt!! I have not heard of Camp Erin but has a person who lost a sibling at a young age, it is a big help to have something to hold on to ...

I can just imagine a child tracing that quilting design with his/her little finger. Hopefully those sharp points in their lives will someday turn into rounded curves. Beautiful work!!

This a very lovely guilt that you made. If you study the quilting design that you did on the quilt for a while you can see angels in the design.

pastrygrl 01-19-2011 10:54 AM

Someone gave me the top and I quilted it. I'm not sure where she got her fabrics but they are all schmooshy blenders and tonae-on-tone fabrics like Moda marbles and Kaufmann fusion. The pattern is a version of Jack in the Box.
