Thank you Both - who knew that DD's were good to keep around!!  She does do nice work and is a sweetheart (especially now that she is "grown-up" - - - ten years ago when she was in HS and college I might not have said that :( ).

I love your pink star quilt, too. You did a great job.

Thanks you - That was really the first quilt I had done in about 20 years. There were SO many pieces - It was a take off on an "I Spy" quilt that I had seen in a baby quilt book called "I Spy Napping" without the signature novelty block (what I call it for the lack of anything better to call it). It took me forever to piece all the triangles to the hexagons :( :( .

I am pleased with it now that it is done!!!

wow ! all that piecing ! This is wonderful, pretty and wow ! Impressive.

^5, It must feel great to finish. I do hope you keep it. WE all give most of what we do.

The old way of making 13 quilts, for ourselves. is not a bad thing. at least things done was kept to enjoy.

Giving is in our blood.. pretty thickly too ! I have nothing of my own. All gifts, and before I knew to or thought of taking pictures for a diary.

After my grandmother died, a few gifts have returned to me. More cherished since she used my pillows.

Buy my quilts. Those I wish I had kept a few.
