I'm not expert, but I would suggest using the same blue that you used in the blocks or another light blue small print for the border.

They are all wonderful, and when I eyed the beige and brown before I read "Any suggestions?" on the border, my minds eye visualized the blue and then the dark brown. The blue being the smaller size border (like an inch I guess and the brown whatever you most prefer obviously..Just thought I wold put my two cents worth in.

i squinted (the scientific test for exactness) and i didn't see anything wrong with the doggy blocks.
but if you see something i don't, then "float" the blocks, by separating them with a narrow sashing of the background color. that way, they're not right up against each other and any difference in size or angle is hardly noticeable. since yours are not noticeable in the first place, this would make them less than invisible. great work. show us what you decide to do.  |
You should be very proud of your self!!! All 3 are awesome!!! :D :D :D Mom is going to love her doggy quilt and your liitle gal is going to love her pretty quilt, too!!! Your block will make a gorgeous quilt, are you going to continue on with a quilt?
