The first thing I did was make two strip quilt tops using that easy method somebody posted. I still needed to add borders; not sure what colors yet. Do you think they should be one of the colors in the top or do you think something else could work?
The second thing I did was finish up the kaleidoscope blocks that I started in a class about 6 weeks ago. I made it into two quilt tops. The third thing I did was made a quilt for each of my pets. (except the outdoor cat; he has one I bought at the thrift store to go in his dog house). They are very simple. A plain top with a flannel back-no batting. I wanted to see how it would feel when it was finished. Would be nice for a summer quilt. The flannel didn't seem to hard to work on either. (never used that before either). The fourth thing I did was cleaned up my sewing room; will post those pics in another thread. That's a lot of work for 4 days! I'm impressed.

Lovely work. I make quilts for my dogs a lot. They never check to see if points meet or if the binding is correct.

Nice work!

Wow, you were busy!

Oh how nice!! I love your doggies and kitty. I just made a quilt for my toy poodle. I swear he smiles while he lays on it :) Yours look great!

Those Kaleidoscopes are amazing!!!
I have cats and have the feeling they DO check for seams, points etc. Doggies wouldn't LOL :D |
