What a great Halloween quilt.
Love the inclusion of the crow on top .... and even to have found a Halloween spotted fabric for the background! Great scrappy mix of fabrics throughout.

I hate to mention this, after your struggles, but it sounds like you want this to be "just right".
And I think you would sooner know now, then after the next border is on, or worse, when totally finished.
Bottom left of the pumpkin, should that one be a HST, the same as the bottom right?
Sorrrrrryyyyyyyyyy! :(

I saw the same . I am sure that with your struggles with this piece, you may not want to cut out this small block and replace it with a half-square triangle. But to me it was more obvious than any rip-out and re-sew spots. Those will disappear with quilting and time and run through the washer. Lovely Non-Halloween pumpkin quilt. I am glad you did not toss it out.

That's so cute!!! I would def keep it and the others have told you what to do. Cute pattern!!!

I think it turned out lovely and despite your challenges, I think a little appliqué addition will finish it up wonderfully. Don’t forget to post another pic when it’s all finished.

It would take me longer to appliqué something on there than to make a HST and fix the mistake. I can understand how frustrated you must be but your wall hanging is so cute and you’ll enjoy it for years. Persevere!!

Please what is the pattern name and where can it be purchased.

I feel your pain, because I do the same thing with patterns. You'll have that last "mistake" fixed in no time and you'll be able to enjoy the finished quilt soon. Very nice work...worth all the frogging.

To all who responded....I actually had the half square triangle that should have been used already made...somehow it got knocked to the floor and wasn't seen. The solid square was replaced yesterday afternoon. Not sure about using the plaid material in the photo yet...maybe an orange and black order and the plaid for a backing. For those interested this is where I found the pattern … even has a PDF! https://www.thepatternbasket.com

It is really cute. I learned the hard way to take pictures of my quilts before they were quilted. I have a couple with blocks turned the wrong way that I didn’t notice until they were on a bed. I love your pumpkin and crow. That will be a very easy fix!

Yes, using two different rulers to measure and cut can make a difference in your blocks!! Can not tell you how many seams I ripped out only to have to redo it all again. I came really close to admitting defeat and throwing it in the trash can. Thought I had prevailed, until I looked at it....very obvious mistake. Now where is my seam ripper??

I had a similar error on one of my pumpkins. I cut triangles from a neutral wool and appliquéd to all four corners.
