I think it looks great! I would put a border on it.... is there pink in that paisley? Then bind in purple. I don't think it needs an applique.. but quilts are cute with them

I especially like the purple paisley. I have never seen that print, in that color way. A bright pink, green or orange or even dark purple or white would make it pop as a 1" frame and a border of the print would look nice. (And simple)

I don't think it Needs an applique either. Not every quilt has to be an eye popping extravaganza :D A pink binding would certainly give it an extra cute touch tho .

I agree with adding some appliqué and I love purple and yellow! :).
