Purple & FMQ iPad Bag
 

Here's my latest creation, a messenger-style shoulder bag sized and designed with a specially padded pocket to hold an iPad. The bag is made out of sueded upholstery fabric, lined with quilter's cotton, and padded between layers with a heavy Pellon fleece.

This is bag my own original design & pattern. In addition to the the padded iPad pocket it has a cell phone pocket as well as space to carry accessories and/or personal items. It's an iPad case that doubles as a purse, or maybe a purse that doubles as an iPad case!

Wow - your quilting is absolutely gorgeous!

I made my son one out of upholstery fabric for a laptop and lined it with blue/black gold dragon fabric. I was only brave enough to quilt his initial on the front. I got that pattern from Quilting Arts/Pokie Bolton website.

It's beautiful. I would love to have it even without an IPad.

You had me at purple. But your quilting is fantastic. I want to do something like that but will use my embroidery machine. If you get tired of it, my iPad would like it :-)

I'll give you mine too. That is really stunning. I love how you incorporated it all together. I like purses and laptop or Nook bags to be organized so I love different pockets or storage areas. You did a great job on the design, the FMQ and the fabric choice.
