Beautiful quilt - a real keeper.

It looks like the pattern is a Kaffe Fassett pattern called Star Bouquet, except she changed the outer border a bit. But the center part with the stars is identical. It is from his book Country Garden Quilts, p. 59. If you google Star Bouquet Quilt pattern you will see it.

The pattern was for a full size bed. I reduced it by making fewer blocks and designed my own border for a 60 x 60 throw.

I have been stalking this thread because your quilt takes my breath away I love it! If you remember the pattern or what kind of fabric the yellow and purple flowers are in the center I would love to get some of that fabric.


I got the fabric (it's actually green/purple flowers) from JoAnn's and found the pattern in a quilt magazine (sorry can't remember which one) - but the pattern was called "star bouquet" - I made my own border because I wanted a smaller quilt than the "double size" the pattern was. My husband made me the templates out of hard plastic which made it much easier to create the quilt.
