Very beautiful quilt, both sides!
Wonderful two-color quilt! Love the color purple you used and the backing is so creative.
The border on the front is wonderful, as it echoes the edges of the main blocks. I have to say, along with a few others, that I really love the back at least as well as the front. You manipulated the various shades of purple perfectly.

Such a pretty quilt - front and back!
Both sides are outstanding!

Very pretty purple. I like the milky way pattern........have never made one.
Wow, that is sew pretty .
Love both sides -- I would probably be flipping the quilt constantly. Great job!!!
I love it and what an unusual backing, love the quilt and it's in my favorite color, purple.
Gorgeous! I love your pieced backing.
What a challenge that would have been to line front and back up to actually quilt together or long arm. How did you do that? Purple is my favorite color also. What a beautiful gift. It would be grand if the couple were to open the gifts in front of family and friends so others could see your outstanding work.

Both sides are beautiful, my fav is the back.
I'm not a purple person, but I like your quilt.
Stunning! The Milky Way pattern is appealing because its simplicity creates such a dramatic look. Tessellations are always fascinating. The purple/white is a great combination, and the borders are a great ending. The back is beautiful, and I also wonder at getting it lined up so perfectly.
Very pretty!

FANTASTIC work there LADY! Both the front and back are just perfect.....Lucky neice. You must have been buying purple fabric for a long while.....: )

I glue baste my quilt sandwiches. When I put the top on the already-glued-together backing and batting, I carefully line up the centers down the length of the quilt to keep it straight. I've done several this way, and each time, it seems a little straighter--practice, practice, practice. :) |
Beautiful!! Looks almost like a snail's trail
