I think the darker would be nicest.

Personally I like the purple backing for the binding.

the green in the quilt is the perfect color for binding.

I would use the same fabric as the last border. I like to do it this way so the eye follows thru and doesn't come to a halt with that thin strip of a different color or pattern.
