purse for a friend

I made this for a dear Wintu friend. The first pattern is a Wintu basket pattern called Frog Fingers. The purse has different patterns on the 2 sides. The brown cloud fabric is just a bow for the gift.

Thank you. My Wintu friend does a great deal for us and our community, including teaching about local Indian basket making and other culture. She asked me to prepare coloring sheets for her elementary school class on Wintu culture. It became apparent immediately that almost all of the basket patterns she gave me would make good quilt patterns as well, so I made her a Wintu pattern lap quilt and this purse with one side Wintu.
