It is really easy, believe me if I can do it anyone can. I had never sewed before when I started making these. Ofcourse I had tons of help from my bff who taught me how to do them.

How do you decide where to put the pockets and how many pockets you are going to put into one of the totes?

They are pretty and hard to lose in a crowd.

The pockets are the same width as the purse, they are sewn into the side seams. Then depending on the size of the purse we make usually 3 pockets--most of the time we try to make the pockets the same size, sometimes we make one smaller.

Those are great! Did you use a pattern, and if so, where was it?

We started off with the basics of a pattern but as we made a few we more or less did our own thing. If you would like I can try to write it down so that it makes sense.
