Your quilt is beautiful. I love all the colors and designs all different but they work together like they were meant to be. Keep it up

ShellyQ 07-17-2007 01:41 PM

Your Quilt is lovely. I'm particularly fond of scrap quilts, takes me back to Grandma's

ButtercreamCakeArtist 07-17-2007 01:56 PM

That's very lovely, RV.
I think scrap quilts might be my favorite bc they have such variety!
Coffee keeps me alive, sometimes, I think.

Thank you and also it is the same pattern all the way through. You make a block then when you sew them together you turn them one way then the other. :D

Nice, I love lots of colors. Now how are you going to quilt it? You sure have a big out put. :D

danna738 07-18-2007 07:45 AM

Is this a Wicked Easy Quilt pattern? I just printed out the instructions and am planning to start one this evening. I doubt it will be finished in one day, let alone one week. You must sew at the speed of sound! Love the scrappy color combinations.

rvquilter 07-18-2007 04:18 PM

Yes it is a wicked pattern. It really doesn't take that long once you get the pieces cut. I will probably tie this one as I'm going to use really fat batting. I love big fat quilts. :D

What a timely posting. I was, ahem, straightening up my fabric room today  and was side-tracked looking over that pattern. Guess it will go in my yes-I-will-make-it pile. Did you really need a full FQ? Some of mine were cut undersized.

I would dearly love to see this quilt, however my equipment can't pick it up...... is there any other way it can be put on the internet, please?

joy 07-18-2007 10:05 PM

I have got it !!! It must have been slow in coming through.... sorry about that..... Looks lovely.... great idea and not hard either.... I have put that in my memory for a later date.....

rvquilter 07-19-2007 07:45 AM

No you don't need full FQ's. Just use whatever you have. You can put all kinds of fabric together.

Cool

lande11158 10-20-2010 02:00 PM

where can I obtain the pattern and material requirements to make a queen size quilt using the Providence pattern. I can only find patterns for one square, which does not tell me how much material to but.

lande11158 10-20-2010 02:02 PM

That should say "buy" not "but"
