many, many years ago my oldest dd was having an attitude problem at dinner. I told her "you may be the princess, but keep in mind, that makes me the queen" it has become an ongoing family gag. I finally made a quilt for myself, and saw a crown shaped rhinestone iron on in the craft dept at Walmart.. i knew it was perfect for my quilt.

Great quilt! When first married, I called my DH Konging(King) and he called me Dronning (Queen). I think I deserve a crown too. lol!

Beautiful quilt. As you can see, my forum name is Queen. As a mother of 3 sons, I always told my boys that I was Queen and Dad is the King. This is not a democracy, but a monarch and what we say goes. Now I have one adult son and 2 teenagers and they have grown into great people.
