My grandparents celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in December. I decided to make them a lap quilt for them. It also had to be done quick because I thought their anniversary was in January. Oops. It is a two sided quilt. One side for my grandma and one side for my grandpa. I am going to mail it tomorrow. They don't know I am making this for them, it will be a complete surprise. Please excuse the pictures of Tawny I couldn't get her off of the quilt. I think she wants to keep it. She also helped me make it. Oh, I also decided to be brave and I free motioned the whole quilt. Not too bad if you don't look close.

She probably just wants to go to Grammas so she figures if she stays on the quilt you will have to take her too. LOL
The quilts are great and your quilting is awesome.   |
I would say Tawny definitely wants her own quilt - and she wants it double sided! :D

What a lovely idea...
Tawny is just beautiful too. |
I love the 2 sided quilt! That's great!

Beautiful!! What neat idea making it two-sided. I may have to borrow your idea for a future quilt.

Beautiful quilt! And I love Tawny. Bostons are the BEST dogs, aren't they?
|
Both are beautiful! But it's obvious that Tawny is saying "Come on, I'm the REAL beauty here!"
