I bought this book by Peggy Martin. I saw it demonstrated on YouTube and was really intested. Here is my first attempt. This is call a Spinning Star.

Couldn't you get the same effect with strip piecing and then cutting like an OBW??? I think I'll try it...

What kind of paper did you use; have you tried "Golden Threads Quilting Paper"? I bet your LQS carries it, and you'll be amazed at how much easier it comes off than other paper!

I just used regular printer paper. I never thought of using something that was intended for this. Thanks!!

That came out really nice... I just scored a bunch of paper piecing books... I do intend to really dive in once I can physically walk in my craft room!!
